Here are the prospective initial salaries for NFL players drafted in the initial league draft. There will be 35 rounds to the initial NFL draft (35 total active roster spots and 5 IR spots). The NFL will have a hard salary cap at $200 million initially. This will come into effect during in-season free agent acquisitions, player re-signing and off-season free agency. Players on the practice squad will not hit the cap until they are on the active NFL roster.
