Each owner will receive 7 one-year contracts, 5 two-year contracts, 5 three-year contracts, 3 four-year contracts, and 2 five-year contracts. 1: $14 2: $12 3: $10 4: $9 5: $8 6: $7 7: $6 8: $5 9: $4.5 10:$4 11:$3.5 12:$3 13:$2.5 14:$2.5 15:$2 16:$2 17:$1.5 18:$1.5 19:$1 20:$1 21:$0.5 22:$0.5 The total initial salary for each team following the draft will be $101 million dollars. The NHL will have a hard salary cap at $110 million initially. This will come into effect during in-season free agent acquisitions, player re-signing, and off-season free agency. Players on the AHL roster will not hit the cap until they are on the active NHL roster. The off-season rookie draft will have a different set of salaries and contract lengths, discussed here: foursportdynasty.freeforums.net/thread/26/nhl-season-rookie-draft-salaries
