These rules are more fully documented here: foursportdynasty.freeforums.net/thread/23/waiver-wire-acquisitionsTo reiterate, the rosters we have will be players under contract, so they cannot simply be released into the player pool at your leisure. Players MUST be released via buyout. To add a player in-season, the player must fill an empty roster spot, either vacated by a buyout or by a player transferring to IR/DL. The player will receive a minimum salary of 1 year, $0.5 million for the remainder of the season. At the end of the season they can just be released into the player pool or re-signed (re-signing rules are available in the thread linked above as well). The player acquired via waiver wire can only be released without penalty if a player returns from the IR/DL and is returned to the active roster. They cannot be released upon call-up of a minor league player. Otherwise, they would have to go through the buyout process like any player (On a minimum contract that is only $0.25 million over the one year.). All waiver-wire acquisitions must be documented here in the following manner: The Milwaukee Brewers transfer [insert name],[position],[real team] to the DL and sign [insert name],[position],[real team] to a minimum contract via waiver wire. To make a waiver-wire transaction, create a NEW THREAD in this board. Do not comment on this one.
